The Confucius Temple in Taiwan is mostly a quieter spiritual location than many of the temples in the city whose grounds are constantly filled with a flood or worshipers. The sparse population compliments the spartan design of the temple.

On my visit, however, an elementary school field trip was visiting the temple and local musicians were happily playing children's songs for the group. Happy to see a foreign face, the kids were eager to peer into my camera lens and then see the images I had captured of them.
