Presiding over the roundabout that joins Chester Road, the Mancunian Way and Chorlton Road, St. George's Church has joined the 21st century by being transformed from a place of worship to apartments in the year 2000. The award-winning conversion has kept the building standing after being empty for years. Better to have the building standing with a new purpose than to have it destroyed when it was no longer needed.
