You can't count on great weather in Sapa (at least, I couldn't, but that's what I get for visiting during the winter), but you can count on some beautiful scenery.

Tiny villages where time stood still dot steep hillsides cut with rice paddies and a green palette dominates the land. Muddy tracks lead to hidden waterfalls that feed trickling streams. Just watch you don't bump your head on the low-flying clouds.
