Bakong

Size: 9 items | Post to del.icio.us

Bakong is the largest and most impressive of the Roluos group of temples to the East of Siem Reap in Cambodia. It represents the first application of the temple-mountain style of architecture that would become so popular with the other temples in the Angkor region and is thus worth a visit for its historical insight into Angkorian architectural history.
